When we came to pick them up they were a size smaller! My rings have always been sized at an 8.5 ring, but when they returned they were a 7! She acted shocked and confused, that took another 45-60 minutes to figure out what size I needed to send it back which was of course an 8.5.
I have made several purchases of new itemsand always experience great customer service, easy time payments interest free, as well as warantee service repair and replacement based on product purchased. I also have had some repair work done on some of my own items and am completely satisfied. I highly recommend Zales .
We returned today to pick the rings up and yet again took her 30 mins to find my info in the computer. She was squinting to look at the computer and my rings the whole time, it's like she could barely see!
We've had to deal with Lisa from square one with this request and it took her FOREVER to find my name and info in the computer. A typical easy process that has always been smooth sailing took easily 45 minutes in that store with her just to get this request completed.
Amy, the one that helped apologized for something that wasn't even her fault. I am hating this place, why am I having to wait months to get my rings back because they keep needing to resiz me to send them back out!?!?
Argh! Lisa should NOT be working there and I refuse to have any interaction with her regarding any service again! Very frustrating experience and so very unhappy about these unnecessary mishaps that I've had to deal with!
At least she was nice and more helpful, but this has been so frustrating! No apologies made by Lisa, just looks of confusion and bewilderment!
Zales has been the worst company I have ever had to deal with. When my husband was originally getting my engagement ring, the store said they didn't have it available for purchase, but it was online. He then went home and ordered the ring we wanted online. After he paid, a week later he was notified this ring was no longer available and they would only refund him with store credit. This store credit could only be used online. He ended up getting a different engagement ring that cost less than the orginal ring so there was still a store credit to use online. Later when it was time for me to buy his wedding band, we decided to go into the store, find a ring he liked, get sized, and go home to purchase it with the left over store credit. Well, the ring was delivered and it was a size too large. Since we picked the ring up at the store, we asked if we could switch it our since it was tungsten and couldn't be resized. We were told they can't take returns from online purchases and when we reached out to Zales corporate to return the ring, we were told we couldn't return the ring. I ended up buying a cheap second ring for my husband just so we had a ring for the wedding day because this issue was so drawn out.
I finally asked the other stores clerk to help and she was able to take care of it to find out I'd need a size 9 instead??

My experience here has been awful. My husband usually drops off my wedding rings to get them rerhodium plated every few months so I'm not usually there for drop off or pick up. We've never had a problem until I decided I wanted my engagement and wedding ring saudered together and since then it's been absolute Hell.
I received the best customer service from Jenn. She sent my bracelet out to be repaired because I had lost a diamond and it came back early and she even had them check all my other stones and tighten the clasp. I then told her that I was looking for another wedding ring for my husband and what my price range was she found the perfect ring that was within my budget and it was a lot nicer than the one I had picked at first. I even like the fact that she called to make sure that he was happy with his ring and to thank me for shopping with them. I will continue to shop at this location because of the customer service I received from her.
With all our rings, we paid for the protection plan. However, every six months when we go into the store to have my rings sent off for the rhodium, they give us issues about being able to locate our account information, tells us we don't have the protection plan or that we didn't bring all the forms. Every single time. We have always had all the forms we were told we would need in order for them to take care of this process. At this point I wish we never went through Zales. It's a lifetime protection we are supposed to have and today we were told our information wouldn't pull up in the system because their computers purged information from the last five years and these rings were bought 6 years ago. We went to a different Zales and they were able to pull up the information, but then said we didn't bring the right forms for them to sign (we have no other forms!), but ultimately took the rings to have the rhodium done. We will certainly never go through them for any future purchases and we would advise others to avoid them as well.
